When choosing your down pillow, there are three key features:

• Down to Feather Ratio

Down is one of the finest and highest quality natural insulators. It has a specific three-dimensional structure and consists of light, fluffy threads that have the ability to trap air and retain the body heat of birds.

Unlike down, which is light, soft and fluffy, a feather is a stem with fibers on both sides. It is harder, heavier and has a two-dimensional structure that does not allow it to retain air. For this reason, feathers have the ability to add volume and softness like down.

This means that the higher the percentage of down to feathers, the softer and lighter your pillow is.

• Sleeping position

Depending on the position in which you sleep and your personal preferences, you need a pillow with different support. There are three main sleeping positions, for each of which a different pillow support is most suitable. Your pillow choice is very important, as you need to keep your back and body in the correct position while sleeping. 100% Natural Down and Feather Filling

Down and feathers are natural fillings with technical advantages that are not found in almost any other material. This makes them one of the most valuable natural materials for filling sleeping products. Thanks to its specific structure, down is extremely soft, breathable and thermoregulating. It does not allow unnecessary moisture to remain in your pillow and prevents sweating. At the same time, the feathers in the pillow provide structure and support. They give the pillow a stable shape that keeps your head and neck in the correct position throughout the night. This combination makes down and feather pillows a popular choice for a quality natural product, ensuring healthy and full sleep.

All feathers and down used for EdenDown products are processed and sorted in Bulgaria by Down Creators AD. The quality of each parameter is strictly controlled by their laboratory to ensure that each product is of the promised quality.

All feathers and down used by EdenDown come from ducks and geese, which are raised in strict compliance with animal welfare and in accordance with European legislation. 

Downproof cotton percale

For the cover of our EdenDown duvets and pillows, we use 100% downproof percale cotton with 91 threads / cm². Downproof cotton has a very fine weave, which means that the holes in the fabric are so small that it is practically impossible for the feathers to pass through from the outside. This special cotton prevents the fine fluffy fibers from leaving your duvet, thus providing you with the perfect conditions for a full sleep.

Because your health and safety are our priority, all our fabrics and down and feather fillings are certified according to the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 regulations.

Hypoallergenic

Our EdenDown Comfort hard three-chamber pillows are anti-allergenic.

• Downproof percale cotton: The already mentioned tightly woven structure of the downproof percale cotton that we use has two main advantages. In addition to the fact that all the filling of your duvet will remain in it, the tightly woven cotton acts as a barrier and prevents dust mites from entering the duvet.
• Excellently cleaned down and feathers: The down and feather fillings that we offer are carefully washed in accordance with the highest European standards (1000 turbidity). With our extremely clean down, we guarantee you safe nights without allergies!

Washing and drying instructions

• Machine wash at 40°C to 60°C on a gentle cycle.
• Tumble dry at low temperature.
• Do not iron or bleach!

Excessive washing of down duvets can cause wear and tear and damage the product. To extend the life of your product, do not wash more than once a year unless absolutely necessary.

Tumble dry your down duvet in a large tumble dryer at low or medium temperature. Drying outdoors in damp and cold weather is not recommended!
